Kashmir Cricket League Edition-9 Jammu
Hillview Rajouri defeated Valley Stars Ganderbal by 6 wickets in the first semifinal match of ongoing Kashmir Cricket League Edition-9 here at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota.
Earlier after winning the toss Hillview Rajouri invited Valley Stars Ganderbal to set the target. While batting first Valley Stars Ganderbal scored 132 allout in 19.1 overs. Ishtiyaq Robby played 46 runs knock while Jattin Wadhwan scored 22 and Hinan Malik contributed 21 runs in the target. Nasir Rasool took 5 wicket haul while Arju Singh and Aqib Mir took two wickets each.
In reply, the Hillview Rajouri Cricket Club achieved the target comfortably in 18 overs for the loss four wickets, Yogesh Sikka scored highest 52, while Puri Abinav scored 35, Aqib Mir unbeaten 21 and Qazi Junaid scored 20 runs in the chase. Anchal Singh took two wickets. Hillview Rajouri won the match by 6 wickets. Nasir Rasool took 5-wkt haul was declared player of the match for his brilliant bowling.

In the second semifinal match, S&A Sports Club Batwara defeated BCC Chanderkote by 4 wickets, batting first BCC Chanderkote set 145 runs target. Ishfaq Bhat with 34 and 25 from Puneet Kumar were the top scorers for the side. Ishtiyaq Para took three Aijaz Salu took two wickets for team.
In reply, the S&A Sports Club achieved the target in 18.4 overs with the help of Asif Ramzan’s match winning unbeaten 55 runs, while Muhammad Manzir and Zeeshan Ali contributed 29 and 20 runs respectively in the chase.
Asif Ramzan was declared player of the match for his match winning unbeaten 55 runs knock.


The final of the tournament is sheduled for tomorrow between Hillview Rajouri and S&A Sports Club Batwara at 12:30 PM.
