S&A Sports Club Batwara, Sultan Warriors Baramulla are in to the quarter-finals of KCL2026

S&A Sports Club Batwara defeated Blue Hunks Kashmir by 8 wickets in the ongoing Kashmir Cricket League Edition-9 here at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota.

Earlier, after winning the toss the skipper of Batwara invited Blue Hunks Kashmir to set the target on a flat batting track, while batting first the batting of Hunks got collapsed on 80 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The skipper of the side S Wasif was the top scorer with 38 runs while Uzair Lone scored 11 runs and rest of the batters couldn’t touch the double figure mark.

It was a disciplined bowling by the bowlers of S&A Sports Club Batwara, Affan Wani took three wickets while Jaddu, Aijaz Salu and Zamin Ashiq took two wickets each.

In reply, the S&A Sports Club Batwara batters achieved the target in between the powerplay, 5.2 overs for the loss of two wickets. Zeeshan Ali was the top scorer with 34 runs, Muhammad Munazir scored 24 and Zamin Asiq added 19 runs in the chase. Mohammad Aqib and Uzair took one wicket each.

Affan Wani was declared player of the match, he took three wickets.

In second match of the day Sultan Warriors Baramulla defeated MuzTali Bricks Cricket Club by 84 runs in last league match of the Kashmir Cricket League.

Earlier, the skipper of MuzTali Bricks invited Sultans to set the target, while batting first Sultans put a decent total of 193 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets. Zahoor Xolo was the top scorer with 48 runs while Mujeeb Ul Haq scored classic 32 and Omais Itoo added 30 in the end Nasir Ganie 17 off 7 deliveries and Zahid Dar fired 24 off 12 deliveries. Faizan Rouf took three wickets for MuzTali Bricks Cricket Club.

In reply, the MuzTali Bricks batters couldn’t chase the target and were restricted on 109 runs in 15 overs. Asif Ali was the top scorer with 43, Mohsin Wani, Haris Goga, Faizan Rouf and Mohsin Manzoor scored 21, 15, 11, and 10 runs respectively. Aazim Rather was declared player of the match for his brilliant bowling in which he took 4 wickets. He dedicated his award to Zahoor Xolo who player a brilliant 48 runs innings.
