Kashmir Cricket League Edition-9
Muztali Bricks defeated S&A Sports Club Batwara by 6 wickets in the ongoing Kashmir Cricket League Edition-9 here at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota.
After invited to set the target, S&A Sports Club scored 130 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Zakir and Affan were the top scorers with 39 and 35 runs respectively. Basit Bashir and Haris Goga took three wickets each for MuzTali Bricks Cricket Club.
In reply, the MuzTali Bricks batters goes brisk and finished the target in 17.3 overs. Mohsin Wani played brilliant innings of 52 runs while Furqan and Hilal Cloured scored 40 and 21 runs respectively. They achieved the target of 132 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Thus MuzTali Bricks wins 2nd consecutive game in the tournament. Jadu took three wickets for S&A Sports Club Batwara. Basit Bashir was declared player of the match for his brilliant bowling in which he took three wickets.
In second match of the day played between Sultan Warriors Baramulla and Blue Hunks Kashmir, Sultans registered a huge win in this match by 160 runs. After put into bat Sultan Warriors Baramulla posted a huge total of 242 run on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Asim Bashir and played firey 84 runs knock while others batters also contributed in a good way. Nasir Ganie played blistering Knock of 36 off 13 deliveries while Waseem Kachur, Omais Itoo, Mujeeb Ul Haq scored 24, 24, and 21 runs respectively. Zahoor Xolo also contributed 19 runs. For Blue Hunks Mohammad Aqib took three wickets.
In reply, the Blue Hunks failed to achieve the target and the team was bundled on 82 runs knock 19.4 overs. Faisal Ganie and Mohammad Aqib scored 25 and 18 runs respectively. For Sultans Asim Basir took three, while Asif Rasool, Azim Rather, and Adil Dada took two wickets each.
Asim Bashir was declared player of the match for his allround performance, he scored 84 runs and took three wickets.
