Hillview Rajouri Cricket Club defeated FCC Kunzer by 39 runs in the ongoing Kashmir Cricket League Edition-9 at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota.
After winning the toss FCC Kunzer invited Hillview Rajouri to set the target. Hillview Rajouri batting first scored a huge score of 186 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Skipper Ishtiyaq Rasool again leading from the front scored a brisk 46 runs, while Qazi Junaid 26, Nasir Rasool 28, Imtiyaz Lefty 27 and Aqib Mir 25 were the scorers for Hillview Rajouri. Rather Maqbool took three while Mudasir Nazar took two wickets for FCC Kunzer.
In Reply, the FCC Kunzer team was allout on 136 runs. Gulzar scored 44, Mudasir Nazar scored 18, Dilnawaz 15 and Dar14 contributed 12 runs for FCC.Imtiyaz Lefty took three, while Qazi Junaid and Ehsaan took two wickets each for the Hillview Rajouri Cricket Club. Imtiyaz Lefty was declared player of the match for his allround performance, he scored 23 runs and took three wickets.
In the second match of the day The Real Sultan Sumerbugh defeated Iqbal Cricket Club Bandipora by 81 runs.
After winning the toss Skipper of Sultans opted to bat first, while batting first The Real Sultan Sumerbugh set the 201 runs target for Bandipora in the allotted 18 overs.
Both the opners failed to score runs, inform batter Irfan Lara could manage to score only 13 while the skipper Boye Mir was out on Golden Duck.Sarsheel and Suhail Paul build a good partnership by contributing 26 and 35 runs respectively, Ankush Bandral played a brilliant 65 runs knock which helps the slogers to hit the leather in the end. Faisal Dar fired unbeaten 21 off 7 deliveries while Rouf Mir scored blistering unbeaten 32 off 8 deliveries which includes 4 consecutive sixes.JB and Naveed Wani took three wickets each.In reply, the Iqbal Cricket Club Bandipora team managed to score only 119 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 18 overs.
Danish Sofi and Jan Saleem scored 48 and 16 runs respectively were the highest scorers for the side. Ankush Bandral took 4 wickets and rest bowlers took one wicket each.
