The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) is all set to host the prestigious Irani Cup Final at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, Srinagar.
The final will be played between Ranji Trophy champions Jammu & Kashmir and the Rest of India from 1st to 5th October.
This is a historic achievement for the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, as it is for he first time in history that JKCA is hosting the prestigious Irani Cup Final.
A few years ago, teams from across India often took on J&K without much pressure, as the team’s performances had not been up to the mark. However, things have changed dramatically.
Today, Jammu & Kashmir are Ranji Trophy champions and are playing in the Irani Cup Final, a remarkable reflection of how far J&K cricket has progressed in just a few years.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
Now, it’s time for J&K to take on the star-studded Rest of India and fight for the Irani Cup! Title. Both Jammu & Kashmir and Rest of India held their practice sessions at the venue ahead of the much-awaited final.
