15th UT Level Tennisball Cricket Championship for Men & Women concludes in Anantnag15th UT Level Tennisball Cricket Championship for Men and Women concluded today on 31/03/2026 here at BHSS Ground Bijbehara.
On the concluding ceremony SDM Bijbehara Tanveer Ahmad Tanveer was the chief guest, who along with Principal BHSS Bijbehara Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Ganie. Addressing the gathering, SDM Bijbehara Tanveer Ahmad appreciated the players for their enthusiastic participation in the championship. He lauded their spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, and dedication displayed throughout the tournament. Later he, distributed the trophies and Medals among the Winners and Runners up teams. In the Championship, 15 District teams of J&K Participated, and around 529 players took active part in the Championship.
In the Championship Budgam District lifted the Championship in Senior Boys category, while as District Kulgam secured Runners up place. Third place in senior Men category was jointly secured by District Baramulla and Pulwama.
In Senior Girls category, District Baramulla lifts the Championship, while as District Anantnag secured Runners up place. The Third place in senior women category was secured by District Srinagar and Kulgam Jointly.
In Junior Boys U-19 age Category, District Pulwama lifts the Championship, while as district Ganderbal secured Runners up Place. The Third place in Junior boys was secured by Ramban and Kulgam Jointly.
In Junior Girls U-19, District Pulwama lifts the Championship, while District Srinagar got runner-up place. Third place was jointly shared by Shopian and Kulgam.
In Sub Junior U-17 boys district Srinagar lifts the title and Kulgam secured 2nd place. Third place was shared by Budgam and Jammu.
The Championship was Organized by J&K Tennisball Cricket Association under the initiative “My Youth My Pride”. The Championship was Sponsored by J&K Sports Council.
