Baramulla Cricket Forum Elects New Leadership – A Day of Democratic Spirit and Sporting Unity
The Baramulla Cricket Forum held its much-anticipated General Elections today, showcasing the democratic spirit and passion for cricket that defines the region.
Ghulam Din Shalla secured a clear victory for the President post, earning 29 votes, defeating Arif Kataria, who managed 15 votes. The win marks a new beginning, as Shalla brings with him experience, vision, and a commitment to promote grassroots cricket across Baramulla.
In another key contest, Zubair Dar won the seat of General Secretary with an impressive 33 votes, beating Naseer Khan Turk, who garnered 11 votes. Zubair’s energetic campaign and long-standing dedication to the sport clearly resonated with the members.
