Mulan Cricket Club delivered a dominant performance to lift the Baisakhi Bash Knockout Tournament trophy, defeating PAG Jammu XI in an exciting final held at the Country Cricket Stadium, Jammu.
Winning the toss, Mulan elected to bowl first. Despite spirited efforts from PAG Jammu XI’s top order — Suryansh (48 off 35 balls), Bandeep Singh (33 off 22 balls), and Ram Dayal (33 off 22 balls) — they were restricted to a competitive but modest total.
Mulan’s bowling attack, led by Majid with 4 wickets, along with Ritik (2 wickets), Kulwinder, Sunil, and Rahul (1 wicket each), kept the pressure throughout.
Chasing the target, Mulan Cricket Club’s batsmen dominated the second innings. Sidharth Bhat played a match-winning knock of 89 off 50 balls, with good support from Rohan, who scored 44 off 29 balls. Despite Bandeep Singh’s 3 wickets, Mulan chased the total comfortably to emerge champions.
The event was graced by Sudarshan Mehta (Former Ranji Trophy Player) and Vivek Sharma (President, Friends Cricket Club Jammu), who appreciated the high standard of cricket and praised the efforts of all participants.
The tournament was smoothly conducted by Vikrant Sharma, Sarthak Khoda, and Agastya, with officiating support from Friends Cricket club, Jammu.
