Baramulla, Dec 29: Waseem Ahmad is a well known batsman of District Baramulla who has performed extremely well this year.
Waseem is a right hand batsman and has been into limelight from the very start of his cricketing days owing to his good cricketing skills.
He has played cricket throughout the Kashmir valley and has made crowed cheer for him everywhere.
This year, he scored his careers fastest century which he blasted at Kunzer ground, he scored century off only 27 balls.
He managed to bag 18 man of the match and few player of the tournament awards this year.
He scored four hundreds and 25 half centuries this year. He played more than 50 matches this year. His highest score this year is 140 runs.
Waseem is a permanent member of Kandi XI Baramulla.
Waseem is hopeful of representing his state soon at National level.
