Srinagar, Jan 11: Bilal creates history wins first ever medal for country in Junior Asian Track Cycling Championship at Indonesia.

Bilal Ahmad Dar of Jammu and Kashmir won first ever medal for India in 26th Junior Track Asian Cycling Championship at Indonesia today. Bilal a resident of Kawoosa Budgam has also won medal in the same championship in team Pursuit event. It is the second individual medal for this star cyclist of India in international championship.

The individual medal he won was a 3 km distance individual pursuit event which he finished it 3:31:919 sec time at an average speed of 50.96 after Karmazhakov of Kazakhstan finished in 3:29:371 sec at an average speed of 51.58 speed.

Bilal talking to JKSportstime over phone said that I am highly thankful to my coach V N Singh who always supported me and gives me confidence that you have the ability to win medal at international level, he also said that I am also thankful to my family who always supported me.
