The Chase was never a herculean one and neither was this a walk in the park. Dadoos Top order faltered in quest of 151, they were rocked on the very first ball of their chase when Imtiyaz Lefty knocked their ace batter Adil guldon for a nought. Sultans bowlers kept coming at them as Dadoos found themselves in a spot of bother at the halfway stage of their innings. They were 69/5 after 10 overs and their skipper Asif Manzoor was there and he was joined by Gowhar leggy, the duo mixed caution with aggression, knocked the ball into gaps and kept the scoreboard moving. They added 66 for the 6th wicket and had almost pocketed the match, however a screamer from skipper imtiyaz lefty sent Asif manzoor back. Asif had almost done it for his team with a 33 ball 43 but Sultans bowlers bowler brilliantly at the death and caught Dadoo rangers short of the target by 2 runs. They needed 14 in the last over and Faisal dar took 11 of the first 4 of the bowling of Manzoor Dar. However, Manzoors experience came to the fore of Sultan warriors and handed them a title win. Asif Manzoor was the top scorer for Dadoo rangers scoring 43 followed by Gowhar Leggys 29. For Sultan Warriors Gowhar Rashid was the pick of the bowlers. He took 19/2 followed Nadeem Dar who took 27/2. Later At the presentation ceremony Imtiyaz lefty bagged both player of the match award as well as Most valuable player of the tournament award.
This was the innaugral edition of the respective league and it was a major success both on and off the field. People thronged the ground in thousands despite their busy schedules.
